Municipality of Straldzha is located in south-eastern Bulgaria and is one of the constituent municipalities of District of Yambol. It covers an area of approximately 676 km² and is situated in the north-eastern part of the district. The municipality combines fertile plains, low hills and parts of the Eastern Balkan Mountains, creating a diverse rural landscape.
The municipality includes 22 settlements – the town of Straldzha, which is the administrative centre, and 21 villages It is located approximately 25 km from the City of Yambol and has convenient road connections to nearby regional centres such as Sliven and Burgas. The Black Sea coast is also within easy reach, with the coastal city of Burgas located approximately 82 km away by road, Burgas International Airport around 85 km away, and the popular seaside resort of Sunny Beach approximately 100 km away.
The local economy is traditionally based on agriculture and related industries. The fertile lands of the Straldzha Plain are suitable for growing cereals, sunflower and other crops.
