The Village of Gorsko Kalugerovo will give you everything you need for a peaceful and healthy living!!

The village is located in a fertile valley, by the mighty Alexander Stamboliiski Dam.

To the north by the village is built railway line Sofia – Varna.

There was a monastery in the village, where monks /Kalugeri/ lived, even after the arrival of the Turks in the 14th century. Namely the monks gave the name of the village /Kalugerovo/. Gorsko /Forester/ comes from the fact that at that time there were many forests in the area. Even the Turks called the village of “Dah Kalugerovo” – a mountainous forest village.
