The property is located in the Village of Oresh, which is situated in the Danubian Plain, 7km south of the Danube River, between the towns of Svishtov and Belene. With a population of more than 1300 people, Oresh is the biggest village in the Municipality of Svishtov. It has an excellent location in close proximity to towns and cities, where you can find all necessary amenities, and facilities, as well as places for entertainment and tourist attractions:

• only 8 miles away from the Municipal centre – the Town of Svishtov – a big Bulgarian port on the Danube River, famous for its Roman heritage and its University of Economics, the town offers numerous hotels, restaurants and shops, as well as many historical and cultural heritage sites to visit;

The locals are Catholics and in the village is situated the Church of the Immaculate Conception. Also, annually in June the Village of Oresh hosts the “National Folklore Assembly of the Catholic Communities in Bulgaria”. The event includes a liturgy, a procession and a concert.

The Community Centre “Filip Stanislavov – 1903”;

– The Church “St. St. Petar and Paul” – in the Town of Nikopol – a richly decorated medieval church from the 13th-14th century;

Persina Nature Park – situated on the territory of three municipalities (Nikopol, Belene and Svishtov), the park is a place for conservation and restoration of Danube wetlands with 1100 animal species;

“Elia” water fountain – in the Town of Nikopol. The fountain has an immured Ancient Roman gravestone featuring an epitaph;

“Kaikusha” Protected Site – a marsh that remained after the draining of Svishtov-Belene lowlands. There visitors and tourists can see typical marsh vegetation and many waterfowls;

– The Historical Museum of Pleven – one of the largest museums in Bulgaria, with an area of 7,000 m² and a permanent exposition of 5,000 items situated in 24 halls.
