Gorotsvet is a village in northeastern Bulgaria. It is located in Loznitsa municipality, Razgrad district.

The Village of Gorotsvet is 1 mile away from Republican road I-2, 12 miles southeast of Razgrad. The third-class Republic Road III-206, which connects it with the municipal center in Loznitsa, passes through the village.

The coastal City of Varna with its famous beach resorts and international airport is about 70 miles away.

The population of the Village of Gorotsvet  is approximately 462 people as of  year 2015.

Cultural and natural landmarks in the village are:

– The Hristo Botev Primary School – an educational center for the children from Gorotsvet and the neighboring Studenets and Kamenar;

– Natural landmark “Kuria” – a centuries-old oak forest near the Village of Gorotsvet, which occupies an area of ​​70 decares. It is a large group of 282 century-old oak trees over 200 years old. Today the forest is a beautiful natural place for hiking and short-term recreation.

The village is located approximately 210 miles to the capital City Sofia & International Sofia Airport, and about 95 miles away to the City of Bucharest (RO) and its International Airport “Otopeni”.

The village is only about 70 miles to the historical and touristic City of Veliko Tarnovo.
